Before reaching the Philippines, the plane needed to refuel in Hong Kong. The airport is awesome.
We stayed there for 3 hours before departing to the Philippines.
We finally reached the Philippines after being in the air for over 17 hours in total.
The photo below is in front of a mural of the Mayon Volcano which is the most triangular shaped volcano in the world… and it’s still ACTIVE!
Going through customs and finding our luggage was fairly easy and so was finding Mike at the arrival pick up spot.
Some of us had family meet us at the airport. A very touching moment was see Liphayette reconnect with her father and family. They haven’t seen each other since 2008.
Off to the hotel!!!
