E-CSLIT Online Meeting #2

On Thursday, November 18, 2012, E-CSLIT went online for their second time! Students across the Toronto Catholic District School Board began to log on to partake in the pre-show at 3:00 p.m. The team of Michael & Chase Consul, Theresa Hoang  (chair of E-CSLIT), Stefan Ntansah (Co-op student), and Dan Lee (guest appearance) prepared jokes and activities until the meeting official started at 3:45 p.m.  Over seventy participated in this online meeting where guest speakers and esteemed board members graciously presented.

During the pre-show, Michael Consul asks the participants which month’s jokes they think are better? September or October?
Voilà Learning is a not-for-profit organization that unites hundreds of people across Canada and United States to make a difference in someone else’s life. A huge thank you goes out to Hosni Zaouali! He spoke about the new campaign recently launched called “The Virtual School in Africa” and how anyone can get involved.
A safe, inclusive and accepting school environment is key to student success. The Toronto Catholic District School Board is committed to providing safe, healthy and welcoming learning environments for all students. E-CSLIT is filled with gratitude for the amazing work done by the Safe Schools Departments and wants to especially thank Peter Barrans for his kind words.
Each school day for 25 years, the Angel Foundation for Learning has been brightening the lives of students within the TCDSB. A special thanks goes out to the Executive Director of this wonderful organization, Marisa Celenza!
Presenters from E-CSLIT’s first face-to-face meeting, Matthew Jones (from P.E.A.C.E.) and Tanika Riley (from Por Amor) surprises everyone with a special appearance. Thank you very much!
