On Tuesday, December 10th, 42 student leaders from across the TCDSB volunteered at the annual Toronto Breakfast Club Toy Drive / Christmas Gala sponsored by Spin Master Toys.
Primary and junior elementary students from various schools in the GTA entered these gates to be treated to some awesome Christmas joy!!
Lucky students experienced an amazing day where they were treated like princes and princesses:
1. Toy Spree
2. Picture with Santa
3. Games / Play Room
3. Hi-Five Tunnel
4. Gourmet Lunch
5. Return to school with gifts galore
First stop on the toy adventure: Fill your sac with any toys of your desire!!There were tables upon tables of toys of all shapes and sizes!So much to choose from…….decisions, decisions, decisionsThis picture really gives you a sense of how big the toy room was and how much choice all the kids had!Student leaders get to meet NBA all-star and former Toronto Raptor, Jamal Magloire (and you thought Simeon was tall)Without the Spinmaster volunteers (aka Angels), this event would be impossibleAfter the kids all picked their toys, it was time to see the big man himself, Ol’ Saint Nick, aka Santa Clause

Congratulations on an amazing day full of Christmas joy and cheer! Now we’re almost ready to do the same thing while we’re in the Philippines (only difference: most of the kids there speak little English!)
