Update – Departing for Toronto

Today is Wednesday, January 6th. We are currently in Hong Kong for a 4 hour stop over.

  1. It was so heart breaking on that last day. To do that last train and to lead our last dance. I tried not to think about it being our last day but being on the bus with them running down the road chasing us, it was clear on everybody’s faces that none of us wanted to leave. Most of us couldn’t speak Tagalog but we’ve made so many connections in such a short time, making that goodbye more emotional.

  2. Heading home today……i dont know what to say. This was an amazing trip and an amazing group of people. I want to do this again and with the same group because the connects we have made on this trip will last for a long time. I will never forget them and the things that we did together on this trip.

  3. Its so hard to believe that this incredible trip occurred,a couple months ago. I’ve learned so much about myself!!! All the lessons and different ways to approach life are things that I’ve shard with my friends and peers.

  4. It was heart breaking to say goodbye to everyone in the community and on the trip since I’m staying an extra week. I’ve been impacted so heavily in ways I probably haven’t even noticed. I’m already in tears looking at the past blog posts, we’ve made such strong bonds in such short times. Everyone we’ve met on this journey has a special place in my heart that I’ll never forget. It all went by so fast, I can’t believe it’s already over. But it doesn’t end here friends, this is only the beginning of the change we’re going to make. We’ve learned and bonded so much, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you wonderful leaders.

  5. ?The step by step sharing of the adventure was so appreciated!

    What a mission!
