October’s general assembly started off with waving flag, a tradition before every assembly, that student leaders’ would participate in. Afterwards, The Director of Administrative Affairs, Stephanie then led us into prayer.

Board Welcome – Christina Fernandes

Christina Fernandes then informed the student leaders about Anaphylaxis. She then asked students for their insight of how they are able to raise awareness about it in schools.

Each executive member shared the highlights and the goals that they have for their subcommittees for the year. Which then Student Leaders then got dismissed, to join a subcommittee of their choice.

Several schools participated in the L’arche Newspaper Chair Challenge, with the outcome of Chaminade College being the winner!

Next Challenge: Create a video for the next general assembly.

       Rules: Ideally it has to be 10 seconds long, with several students participating. It must include someone or several people saying the phrase

“Catholic student leadership.. Get involved!”
