It is our second last day for our build and we are out in the sun working hard. The tasks for today include: concrete making, brick laying, sand transporting, and wire cutting.
Other tasks included cutting hair and taking a well deserved break. We also donated the hair cutting equipment to the village.
After we finished building, we did a huge clothing drive for the village so that they can bring home clothes for themselves and their families. We proceeded with games for both the children and the parents so they could win prizes!
When we went home in the afternoon we started preparing for the final day. We met up in the common room and practice singing the song “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars, which we will perform for the kids tomorrow.
Thanks for following our travels.
