Students often comment that the Olympia leadership experience was the highlight of their year. Here’s a list of information you need to prepare your child to attend our annual Olympia Leadership Camp.

GOALS OF CAMP
- To model Catholic Leadership and become Positive Role Models
- To train leaders to be able to organize student-led initiatives at their schooL
- To acquire, practice, and polish positive leadership skills
- To provide an opportunity for students to network and interact with leaders from other schools
- To have fun! ☺
RULES OF CAMP
- There is ABSOLUTELY NO leaving camp grounds for any reason.
- ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted at the camp.
- NO weapons of any sort are permitted at the camp.
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled events.
- NO males are allowed in female cabins/porches.
- NO females are allowed in male cabins/porches.
- NO leaving cabins after curfew, except for emergency purposes.
- NO inappropriate behaviour.
- NO inappropriate clothing.
- NO cameras in cabins. Teachers must collect cameras before students return to their cabins at the end of the day.
** Failure to comply with these rules will result in:
1) The immediate dismissal of the ENTIRE school
2) A one year suspension from the Olympia Leadership Camp
Students will be sent home at their own expense and school authorities will also be notified.

- 12 pm arrival (Bring your own lunch, first meal served is dinner)

DAY 2
- 8:00 am Breakfast
- Motivational Speaker
- Interschool Seminars

DAY 3

MISCELLANEOUS
- Got additional questions? Please contact your child’s teacher
- Students are permitted to call home at any time using camp payphone (calling/credit card needed)
- Each student cabin has its own washroom (toilet, sink, shower)
- Students of the same gender from the same school will be sharing a cabin. Students from other schools will be in their own cabin.
- Olympia sports camp is a nut free facility
- Although, Olympia sports camp is situated on a Oxbow Lake, there will be no activities that involve entering the lake and students will be advised to stay away from the waterfront at all times.
- Permission forms will be distributed by each school and are to be completed, signed, and returned to your child’s teacher in charge.
