Dear Parents,

Students often comment that the Olympia leadership experience was the highlight of their year. Here’s a list of information you need to prepare your child to attend our annual Olympia Leadership Camp.


Camp 1 – Fri. April 27 – Sun. April 29
Camp 2 – Fri. May 4 – Sun. May 6
Camp 3 – Fri. May 11 – Sun. May 13

  1. To model Catholic Leadership and become Positive Role Models
  2. To train leaders to be able to organize student-led initiatives at their schooL
  3. To acquire, practice, and polish positive leadership skills
  4. To provide an opportunity for students to network and interact with leaders from other schools
  5. To have fun!


  1. There is ABSOLUTELY NO leaving camp grounds for any reason.
  2. ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted at the camp.
  3. NO weapons of any sort are permitted at the camp.
  4. Students are expected to attend all scheduled events.
  5. NO males are allowed in female cabins/porches.
  6. NO females are allowed in male cabins/porches.
  7. NO leaving cabins after curfew, except for emergency purposes.
  8. NO inappropriate behaviour.
  9. NO inappropriate clothing.
  10. NO cameras in cabins. Teachers must collect cameras before students return to their cabins at the end of the day.

** Failure to comply with these rules will result in:

1) The immediate dismissal of the ENTIRE school
2) A one year suspension from the Olympia Leadership Camp

Students will be sent home at their own expense and school authorities will also be notified.

** Itinerary is subject to change in order to meet the needs and demands of the group



  • Got additional questions? Please contact your child’s teacher
  • Students are permitted to call home at any time using camp payphone (calling/credit card needed)
  • Each student cabin has its own washroom (toilet, sink, shower)
  • Students of the same gender from the same school will be sharing a cabin. Students from other schools will be in their own cabin.
  • Olympia sports camp is a nut free facility
  • Although, Olympia sports camp is situated on a Oxbow Lake, there will be no activities that involve entering the lake and students will be advised to stay away from the waterfront at all times.
  • Permission forms will be distributed by each school and are to be completed, signed, and returned to your child’s teacher in charge.
