The Running Dead 2013 On Sunday October 27, 2013 a group of students from all over the TCDSB helped volunteer at the Running Dead event to help support The Heart and Stroke Foundation! What a long line! But for what….….. Oh! It’s for zombies! Humans BEWARE!As the zombies get ready, volunteers are also preparing the obstacle course that is to be run later on in the day!Working hard or hardly working? Definitely the first one! Getting the humans ready for their 5K obstacle course race where they attempt to run away from monstrous zombies!The runners are almost ready to begin their race!Zombies, ready to meet your maker! Here are some awesome runners!Here is the Zombie’s ONLY area, let’s see if they are ready to eat brains!The zombies are almost ready as well! Game faces on!So many zombies! How are the runners supposed to dodge these creepy zombies?!You don’t want to mess with this zombie! You woke her up from her beauty sleep! We can’t forget the music! It brings everything to life, even the zombies!Everything is set! Let the races begin! One by one, each group huddles in the starting van to hear the rules of the race! Here are a few of the volunteers who also helped during the event!Big shout out to the Heart and Stroke Foundation! This event was for you! It was to raise awareness and to give others the chance to step up and help make a change!And finally, one huge THANK YOU to JP! JP, did a fantastic job at running the whole event!
