In light of the recent tragedy to the Philippines, we are going to have TWO E-CSLIT challenges to be completed on our next meeting date, Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Challenge #1
Put together a Christmas gift for one homeless person in Toronto. Gifts will be donated to All Saints Drop In Centre.
Include the following items:
- Pair of socks
- Sweet treat (eg. chocolate, candy cane)
- Christmas card with a personal message of hope (you can make or purchase the card)
- Wrap in a box or place in a gift bag
- Label male, female, or unisex
Optional
- Scarf
- Gloves/mittens
- Grocery gift card (eg. Metro, Sobeys, No Frills)
- Gently used clothing
Challenge#2 (optional)
In relief of the devastating typhoon that hit the Philippines, please bring in a Twoonie ($2) to be donated to a registered Canadian charity and earmarked to help support the affected families in the Philippines.

**Canadian government will also match each donation dollar for dollar made prior to Dec. 8
Goal:
$500 – brought in by E-CSLIT teachers and students
$500 – matched by Michael Consul
$1000 – donation collected on Dec. 5th
$1000 – matched by Canadian government
$2000 – TOTAL donation to Philippine relief effort
