Our new Director’s of Elementary Affairs, Meghan and Priscilla, getting the students hyped up!!!

We started off the night with a beautiful prayer by Mother Teresa, “Do it Anyway”

Mr. Gary Poole—Associate Director—reminded us of how important student leadership is, how important it is to strive to be the best leader, and how elementary students specifically are the core of student leadership.

After, Meghan and Priscilla lead an intense game of

ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS Leadership Style!

Michael Consul spoke to us about the virtue of the month of October—gratitude. His speech taught us the key to happiness is “an attitude of gratitude.”

Our musically talented and inspirational guest speakers for the night were Tanika Rielly and Matthew Jones

Tanika, aka “Insight” from the Por Amor organization taught us how to make a better world for tomorrow through peace, love, positivity and unity. She inspired us to “manifest our gifts” and helped us realize our inner potential to change the world someday.

“One person has the potential to change the world. If we all took that responsibility, then we can make a change.” – Tanika Reilly

Matthew, aka Testament ,spread an important message about P.E.A.C.E (People Everywhere Actually Coexisting Equally). He made an impressive freestyle rap on the spot, incorporating the virtue of gratitude, attitude, Blue Jays (#ComeTogether) and bananas!

Our guest speakers also invited two student leaders up to the stage to freestyle rap on the spot!!!!

!!!!!!!!PIZZA TIME!!!!!!!

While eating pizza, schools were challenged to build the tallest tower with only a piece of chart paper, a piece of tape, a cup and three straws. Everyone was very creative in using their equipment to make their towers, or as some people called theirs “The leaning Tower of Pizza.”
